Maritime Heart Centre Sponsor Tippinators
The Tippinators are pleased to announce that the team has entered in to a sponsorship agreement with the Maritime Heart Centre for the 2010 season. The Maritime Heart Center is a registered, non-profit organization that was established in 1976 by a group of concerned cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, cardiac anesthetists, and radiologists. Their objectives are to provide world class care to patients in the Maritimes with cardiovascular disease, and to be active advocates in primary prevention.
The Maritime Heart Center recognizes the benefits of exercise to long term heart health and it is with this in mind they have become financial sponsors of the team. Team Captain Bruce Johnston is excited to associate with the Maritime Heart Centre. “We all know someone who suffers from some form of heart disease” said Johnston “If the Tippinators promoting the importance of regular exercise can help save just one person, we are glad to do it.” The Tippinators head into the 2010 season ready to promote heart health and are glad to represent the Maritime Heart Centre. |
