The AXBL, is being touted as Eastern Canada's premier
paintball league after a hugely successful inaugural season in
2007. The AXBL offers a structured, professionally run x-ball league
very similar to CXBL, NPPL or PSP events.
The
entire team is eager to make this next step in competitive
paintball. "This league is close to division III play in the
US," says Justin Landry, "we will never get better unless we keep
pushing ourselves. The AXBL is the place to do that."
Mike
Bourque, the owner of Atlantic Xtreme Paintball in Moncton,
New Brunswick, promoter of the Golden Triangle (GT) series is
the man responsible for brining xball to Atlantic Canada. The
talent he sees in the players of the region impresses Bourque,
"There are a great number of talented players in the area and the AXBL
will hopefully develop as a route up for Atlantic Canadian
players. The league will help players excel and give them a
chance to pit their skills against the best in the region and
move to hopefully on to play in the CXBL or even the NXL."
